A crowd built up awaiting the opening of the 270-dealer NUMISMATA
coin show March 15-16 in Munich, Germany.
Long lines formed at the ticket office of the MOC Center
and some visitors made their profit even before the show opened
by selling tickets for a higher price to those collectors
who were not willing to spend their time waiting at the ticket
office.
There was a rush for classical coins, that are thought to
be perfect investments together with gold and silver.
Most collectors, who visit NUMISMATA have been collecting
for years, know exactly, what they want, and are willing to
spend a decent amount of money for it.
Organizer Erich Modes keeps his eyes on the little details
to keep the collectors and dealers coming back year after
year.
This year Modes announced that a NUMISMATA Vienna will be
added to the shows in Munich, Berlin and Frankfort. It will
begin in May 2009, with specific dates to be announced later.
NUMISMATA Berlin is slated for Oct. 11-12. Frankfort will
be Nov. 8-9. The dates for the next Munich show will fall
in March of 2009.
