Greetings
to you and your family for the new Jewish year. May it be
as SWEET as the Honey, HEALTHY as the Apple, PROSPEROUS
and FRUITFUL year, as the Pomegranate!
Here's a lovely video, song for Rosh Hashanah,
by students of Ein Prat Academy near Jerusalem.
According to Jewish tradition, the days
between Rosh Hashana (Jewish New Year) and Yom Kippur (Atonement
Day), are days of inner soul seeking, Days of Awe and repentance
before God, refrain from work and clear our mind from everyday
troubles, and request forgiveness for our sins, from all
the people we may have hurt (by knowing or not knowing..).
Get renewed and refreshment of our spirit and mind so we
can look forward clearly, and enter the new year with a
smile on the face and hope in the heart. We bless each other
"Gmar Hatima Tova" - may you be signed for good!
"O Lord, hear our prayers". On
Rosh Hashanah, Feast of Trumpets, we blow and listen to
the Shofar horn, to expand the heart and open the doors
of heaven.
Listen to the sound of the Shofar
We wish you happy, meaningful holidays, and
a great new year!
