I hope all is well. The coin market is rapidly approaching what I would call the smartest rare coin market we've seen in decades. While it's true that there are more people than ever, be they collectors or investors collectors, entering the coin market there's also more collectors than ever turning in their common date coins and bullion related material and trading them for rarities. This is an activity occurring across the board as this week a collector traded more than one 1907 High Relief as partial payment toward genuinely rare coins. I feel sometimes like a pioneer in this regard as I've specialized in rare and better material for several decades now.
Sales of truly Rare Coins are seeing the most activity we have seen in a long time and we do not see any signs of that changing as more and more boomers and older folks are opting to trade or sell some of their past holdings which are more or less comprised of common or coins that are not rare, and replacing them with rarities of all kinds USA and World. Further, with so much turmoil in the markets from Russia to the Middle East and within our own country. that chaos is affecting all levels of investment and as investors feel the volatility in the stock markets, more assets are being placed in rare coins and other tangible assets.

An extremely rare and delightfully toned pattern 1838 Seated Liberty Half Dollar prototype pedigreed to the famed Eliasberg collection, an uber rare 1758 Chile 2 Escudos holed and exquisite which was part of the famed Norweb Collection!
