The Pre-ANA in Pittsburgh is beginning and the team is there right now in a smoke-filled darkened room with halogen lamps taking closer looks at a collection we are being offered along with a number of exciting and rare Newps we hope to bring home to offer to you, our favorite clients to help increase your investment holdings and also assemble those collections. Meanwhile it's in the mid-90's and Humid in Southwest Florida where these Newps will within just a few days find themselves out of all that city noise and on a beautiful white sand beach chasing the younger coins around.
This weeks hand picked offerings begins with a very scarce, choice and flashy Morgan silver dollar of 1897-O in MS-63 that has a premium quality overall look, followed by a gold dollar of 1869 in very choice uncirculated PCGS MS-64 that shows exceptional luster, next up a choice uncirculated and conditionally scarce 1843-O Quarter Eagle with a bold look, followed by a choice about uncirculated 55 half eagle gold of 1844-O, next up a near gem 1915 Indian Eagle in NGC MS-64 that really does look even finer, to a very choice uncirculated and near gem 1887-S Liberty Eagle in NGC MS-64 with less than a handful of other specimens grading finer, to the USA's first circulating double eagle gold coin of 1850 in choice and crusty from the trail PCGS AU-55 and lastly a very choice uncirculated 1877-S 1st year of type and from the San Francisco mint. Gold spot at the time of this writing is $4380.00. Those who are going have a good shoe.
