August 6th 2025 - A Simple Liberty Gold Double Eagle Type Set

I hope all is well. As usual a somewhat slower time of the year as the temps go higher and higher keeping us inside the air-conditioned comfort of home or in the pool. That said, I\'ve received many a call with questions about how to collect Liberty gold double eagles. Many are somewhat intimidated and justifiably so by the cost and time it would take to find and assemble a complete collection of these giant gold coins that the world loves. As they say have your titanium card open for the acquisition of these as it\'s been while since a complete collection has been assembled and the cost is several million dollars!
One way of enjoying ownership of these coins for both collectors as well as investors, valuable tangible assets to set aside for heirs, is a type set of these coins. There\'s 3 major types, Type 1, 2 and Type 3. One way to make effective use of investment dollars while satisfying the collectors desire simultaneously is to acquire a batter, rarer date and/or higher grade of each of the major types and assemble a type set.
