I hope all is well. Well after at least a week or so of living the la vida loca here on the west coast of Florida with temps in the 80's, it would appear that once again you Yankees are sending us not just your tired huddled masses yearning to be free but also some dang cold weather too! Well, while we're "freezing" here in Fla at only ( yikes! ) 52 degrees at the time of this writing, all we can do now is have some fun with our coins and maybe pick up a good deal on a rare and interesting addition to the collection!
This weeks hand picked offerings begin with a rarely seen Proof Twenty Cent Piece of 1875 one of only a few at the lofty grade of Proof 66 Cameo, followed by one of the great keys in the Morgan Dollar Series, this one a rare 1892-S in very choice about uncirculated 58 by PCGS, only to be outshined by an incredible 1883 Gold Dollar in Gem 65 Prooflike ( ! ) , on to some extra scarce to uber rare gold coins starting with an 1855-S Half Eagle in choice about uncirculated 55 followed by a Civil War dated 1861-S Gold Eagle in Extremely Fine 40 that is quite wholesome and desirable followed by the always popular 1876-S Eagle in choice about uncirculated, next is a very rare early Type 1 Liberty Double Eagle of 1854-S in uncirculated, to a very premium quality 1877-S $20 NGC MS63 and finally a near gem 1912 St Gaudens in MS-64
