Amazing fireworks display in Washington DC and elsewhere and the USA was doing great in the World Cup until those meanies from Belgium took notice, Gold is still above an almost beyond wildest dreams at 5K/oz. A good week all in all and now we are on to the big boys of numismatics the double eagles. This week I'm personally handpicking some of the best double eagles in terms of quality, rarity and price and presenting them to you here. Please bear in mind this is the same list that goes to other dealers so when you see something that catches your eye please communicate with me so I can hold the coin for you.
This weeks hand picked Double Eagles offerings begin with a absolute moose of an 1852/1852 overdate in very choice uncirculated condition MS-63, followed by an almost silly low premium 1870 in choice about uncirculated 58, next up another moose only this one an 1873-S Closed 3 PCGS MS-63 that is so close to MS-64, followed by a very scarce 1874-Carson City $20 in Ch AU, followed by an uncirculated 1883-CC with excellent strike and luster followed by a Gem Uncirculated 1895 $20 in NGC MS-65 and looks premium quality then a pair of Saints starting with the scarce 1909-D PCGS MS-63 and lastly a hold on to your hat 1914-S Saint in PCGS MS-66!
