JUNE 17TH, 2026 - SILVER AND GOLD-USA-WORLD-SHIPWRECK

Hello All,

I hope all is well. These hand picked rarities come to you post Baltimore. The show in Baltimore was very active with the gold bullion market simultaneously showing a rebound in the making which benefits those of us in numismatics as well. Late breaking news seems to suggest an agreement with Iran and that Oil Tankers are filling up accordingly. Seems odd that good news is affecting precious metals in a positive way but that's what's happening. I've heard chatter in the business and bets being made on when spot gold will be north of $10K/oz. Sorry but for my money I've got safer areas in numismatics that hold much greater promise for upside than spot gold at 5 grand an oz.

This weeks hand picked offerings begin with a very neat 1890-CC Morgan Dollar, Tailbar in very choice uncirculated MS-64 with incredible deep toning on obverse and booming luster shown on the reverse. There are collectors who specifically target beautifully toned coins like this, I happen to be one of them. You could wait many years to find another like this Top 100 Morgan. Next up we have a run of scarce to excessively rare USA and World Gold beginning with an early New Orleans overdate quarter eagle of 1851/1851-O in uncirculated condition, Next up a Gem Uncirculated and Blazing Gem at that 1873 Closed 3 quarter eagle gold in PCGS MS-66 that is mind boggling high end, to an incredibly rare Proof $3.00 gold of 1871 that shows a total MINTAGE of a mere 30 coins but with around a dozen thought to have survived, Next is one of the great rarities in Carson City Gold and in Liberty $5.00 gold series in total, the 1874-CC Half Eagle in very choice about uncirculated condition by NGC is one of the greatest half eagle gold prizes you can find sitting right next to an extremely low population and Gem Uncirculated MS-65 1897-S Double Eagle graded by PCGS, now overseas to a pair of Great Britian Sovereigns of 1821 and 1825 both from the Pulaski Shipwreck, and finally a 1422-50 Anglo Saxon 1422-50 Salut D'Or in very choice uncirculated NGC MS63, rarely found this exceptional

1890-CC $1 MORGAN Tailbar NGC MS64

1873 $2.50 PCGS MS66

Mind blowing 1873 Closed 3 quarter eagle in Gem Uncirculated condition graded by PCGS. None numerically finer. Smooth, lustrous PQ. Last auction appearances of MS66 2016 and 2003! Population of only 4 and none better and the 4 does not account for resubmissions. Based on appearances or lack of appearances it seems doubtful that even 4 of them have been graded. 1897-S $20 LIBERTY PCGS MS65

Remarkable luster. Only 3 numerically finer at both services combined. PCGS:$17,500. ALL MS-65 gold is pursued by the big investment companies like Blanchard coins etc. I can only wonder what they would resell this coin for
