I hope all is well. The coin market marches on. Thought I'd show some of the rates of return in just a few double eagles per NGC. Here's some of the last 12 months top double eagles performers:


Liberty Head $20 (1850-1907):


This week we present to you 8 neat rare coins, while many adding others to our overall inventory list which you can view with a click on the link below. This weeks neat coins range from an excellent half eagle gold struck at the mint in Dahlonega Georgia in 1845 followed by a gem MS-65+ 1st year of issue Indian Half Eagle, on to a single Eagle from 1882-O New Orleans. Monster 1900 Double Eagle Gold in Gem MS-65 to a pair of better date St Gaudens Double Eagles, 1920 In Very Coice Uncirculated condition and a 1926 in superb gem MS-66 graded by PCGS. Couple of neat and rare non US coins, an ancient Cleopatra 51-30 BC in outstanding condition and a choice uncirculated French 20 Franc struck in 1812!

1845-Dahlonega Georgia $5 Gold NGC AU53

Attractivce Dahlonega type coin. Bid (5055)=44005500. PCGS7550.. Southern gold coins especially in this price range if nice like this one are few and far between. Would make an excellent addition to a type set of D-mint gold, a collection of Dahlonega's or as an investment gold coin.

Some of the historic highlights of 1920, The Boston Red Sox baseball club owner Harry Frazee sells slugger Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees for $125,000 in cash and a $350,000 loan, starting the 84-year Curse of the Bambino Baseball Legend.,The first year of Roaring Twenties in the U.S. brought votes for women and an official start to the nationwide ban on alcohol.

1926 $20 SAINT PCGS MS66

Underrated; scarcer than the 1925-P. superb gem condition with superior surfaces and overall eye appeal in this high end high grade Saint. PCGS shows value of $6000. Some fun facts about 1926, On May 1, the Ford Motor Company became one of the first companies in America to adopt a five-day, 40-hour week for workers in its automotive factories.,Bacon cost 50 cents a pound, eggs were 56 cents a dozen, and maple syrup was 49 cents a pint. In 1926 as well, the words accident prone, baguette, car park, deactivate, emerald cut, fantasize, gladiola, hash browns, jumper cable, karate, little guy, and motor lodge all appeared in print for the first time.
