May 15th, 2024 - Special Offering-Rare Gold Eagles and Gold Half Eagles
Hi All
I hope all is well. This week I thought it desirable to highlight some of the US Gold Half Eagles and Gold Eagles in inventory as well as list some newps that are just in. The coin business has been rolling merrily along while it seems that other sectors in the economy are shaky in some cases and downright worrisome in others. One thing is for sure, as we approach the Presidential election day we'll be seeing the typical manipulations we've grown accustomed to by the fed. Recently watched a movied called "The Big Short" and while the fundamentals seem different, we're still looking at an unbelievable amount of spending going on, historically high priced real estate much of it now corporate owned and at interest rates of 6%...what's the sound in the distance?
But you don't come here to read what this old guy has to say about the economy but you do come here to find some of the rarest and neatest coins, some for the artistry, some for the economics, others for the historical significance and it's always a wonderful thing to be there when the person starts as an investor or collector but ultimately can be called a numismatist. Wow. This weeks focus, gold half eagles and eagles.
