I hope all is well. Baltimore was quite active with the biggest issue being the lack of fresh quality and rare material to the market. There's a few which will be on the new list coming out as well as next weeks newsletter teaser offerings. Tease tease. As you can imagine after all these years I have a sizeable want list, yet very little percentagewise is being purchased as very little is even seen. Why? There's always coins to buy you say? Dig deeper into the inventory here and in general I think you'll change your mind if that's what you've been thinking about what is offered here. In general and I do mean in general, what you will see here are coins that have a little extra something or are the rare dates that nobody talks about ( or have for sale ) And if you watch closely you'll see another like it in the months, maybe years ahead until they seem to have fallen off the globe.
Here's a case in point, there's a rare quarter eagle in the mid 1830's of which there are estimated about a dozen or so known to exist. I can personally account for 9 of them. That's right, I acquired 9 of these over a period of years and placed every single one of them in private collections. There is a coin on the website right now that fits a similar scenario, this one in silver and I am hunting these coins. I have purchased 2 in the last few months. At some point there won't be any others left except an occasional jack in the box type surprise appearance but other than that the goal is to hunt down as many quality specimens as possible and buy them.
