Rare Coin Collectors-Investors
- Do you like......Paper?
Dear
Client,
I know you like rare
coins but...... do you like paper? Not any kind of
paper mind you, the kind of paper I am specifically
referring to is is rare, historic paper such as currency
or papers of a historical nature. I've collected various
types of paper for many years and thought it high
time I share some of this with you all.
Please scroll down to
the end of this brief newsletter to find actual examples
or specimens of what I'm talking about and if you
like them feel free to click on the link which will
take you where you can reserve yours and even buy
that specimen. I've enclosed several neat items that
the collector base of which is growing and has seen
quite nice appreciation in recent years too.
#2 is a really neat 1922
Gold $10. Dollar note PMG Graded Very Fine 30
that is well centered, has good color and very reasonably
priced. Did you know that back in the day had you
decided you wanted to have a $10 gold coin or 4 quarter
eagles or 2 half eagles all you had to do was walk
into a bank and exchange this note for gold coins?
Now you can feel confident when you walk in and get
more paper or an electronic receipt but back then
you received the real McCoy.
The third item on the
list is a fantastic 1928
$1,000 Federal Reserve Note ( ever see one?) Graded
Very Fine 30 by PCGS, his note is clear and sharp
and in our opinion very choice. Lastly please check
out the authentic and historic Civil War Bonds which
were issued during the Civil War to raise money in
the effort to support the South's cause. These are
very special as they have most if not all the bonds
attached (many are being destroyed and sold individually
on ebay!)
Lastly but not "leastly",
check out this Authentic
Confederate States of America Civil War Bond, dated
April 11, 1862 issued at Richmond. All or Most
of the bonds are attached making these really neat
historical Americana of an era of extreme change and
turmoil in the country . Many of these bonds didn't
survive the years, or were mishandled and destroyed
in places they were held, many overseas only to be
repatriated a hundred plus years later. Definitely
frame able and quite nice to do, I have a few different
Civil War Bonds of my own framed in my office . These
are very choice and free from many of the problems
that plague these great historical footprints of America.
Will be shipped separately from any other order in
a tube.
In this first newsletter
of 2019, let me promise to be more consistent in sending
out these offerings of really cool items that many
here didn't even know that I collected or dealt in.
Please remind me of the job I did next January! Also
look for us at the Baltimore show next month!
Thank you for your business
always and,
Happy, Healthy 2019
Tom
P.S. Every Order from
this offering will also receive a terrific Gold
Confiscation Act, April 5th 1933 ordered
by President Roosevelt copied on parchment. Frame
able for the office or play room
