Incredible 1875 Double Eagle Pattern, PCGS Proof 65 Cameo Judd 1449 in Aluminum, which at the time this was struck was more valuable than gold and as such was used in special presentations to foreign dignitaries, other important people. Does this 92-S look MS-63 to you Please click on the enlarged images and examine closely. This is the type of coin you can really have fun with by putting a small piece of black tape over the grade and passing the coin along to others to grade. My bet is the majority will grade this coin MS-64, some will grade it MS-65 and very few if any will grade it MS-63+. Quite the nice specimen of this type III struck at the San Francisco Mint. Then think of gold at $3500+ and consider such a small premium on a great coin.
