January 23rd 2025-Rare Coins Post FUN and NY part 2

Hello All

I hope all is well. This week please enjoy a grouping of neat newly added and imaged coins as shown in the list below. The coin market and business is quite active and competition for good coins is fierce. There were a number of newps which were destined to be on this very newsletter but were resold in record time before even adding to the price list which is now live online.

This week please note some of the neat and rare coins I thought merit being imaged on the newsletter:

Just listed many other important Newps not yet imaged on the website, images on request

When you see a rare coin of interest, please click to request images and to temporarily reserve the coin, giving yourself a little time to review the images that we'll send you and communicating with us that you would like us to hold the coin while you do your research.

Please also note that these are just some selections from the vast inventory of really great rare coins we have to offer. If you do not see what you are looking for on our website, send us an email or give us a call, because if it's a really rare coin, chances are we have a lead on one for you or have it in the safe!

Please contact me as soon as possible, as this is a very healthy rare coin market.

Don't hesitate to share your Want List items; we are adept at filling them, and we're discreet.

We wish you and your family continued health & prosperity.

Happy Collecting and Happy Thanksgiving!

1937-D 3 Legs Buffalo Nickel 5c CACG AU50

One of the 20th Centuries Must Have Ultra- Super-Neato coins is the 3 legged Buffalo Nickel. Designed by sculptor James Earle Fraser, Buffalo Nickels are considered a true American design with a Native American based on Lakota Chief Iron Tail and Cheyenne Two Moons ( who fought at the battle of the little big horn ) on the obverse and an American Bison on the reverse. But in the case of the 37-D 3 Legged variety, it appears that the Buffalo's 4th leg does not exist as excessive die polishing apparently resulted in the legs disappearance while surprisingly the hoof still remains intact. One of our coolest coins ever.

$1,695

1881 Seated 25c PCGS MS66 CAC

This a holy cow can you believe it seated quarter with the type of original colorful toning that is quite attractive and rare accordingly. Morgan dollars that are toned like this sometimes fetch multiples of whatever bid is supposed to be. Looks better than 66, call it MS-66+ and sporting a cac sticker.

$3,585

1889-CC Morgan $1 PCGS VF35

One of the most desirable of all silver dollars, the 1889-CC ( Carson City ) in a PCGS VF-35 holder. Bold strike shows this coin nicer than 35 too.

$3,475

1883 $3 PCGS MS64

Beautiful near gem 1883 $3.00 gold . Lovely color & luster with a mere 24 specimens graded as such at PCGS.

$15,730

1912 Indian Eagle $10 NGC MS64

Fantastic eye appeal on this near gem 1912 Indian Ragle in NGC MS-64. PCGS values:$4750.

$3,250

1861 Double Eagle $20 PCGS AU55

Shots were fired at Ft Sumter South Carolina when this popular double eagle was minted. Nice color with a slight crustiness on this historic and desirable Civil War Era double eagle

$3,750

1852/1 Humbert $10 PCGS VF35

K-8, R-4. Seldom offered overdate (especially at PCGS). Looks XF. Dramatic bisecting reverse die crack.

$13,250
